WHAT WE TASTED: A heady ripe cherry, black plum and spice on the nose - from Grenache and Zin. Smoky, dark fruit on the palate courtesy of Petite Sirah. Big and bold from Syrah, with elegant velvety vanilla finish. Very special wine.

PERSONALITY: Eric was a biologist and zoologist before turning to wine - thus his love of animals and science. The label is from an early line drawing of a vulture. He learned to make wine with his grandfather on his farm in Sonoma County and continues to learn as he works with great winemakers such as Philippe Melka who use Eric's custom crush facility in Napa.
